Happy November y’all!
I can’t even believe that it’s already time to head into the holidays. Is it just me, or does this year seem to be flying by? I have the BEST day-by-day journal and it’s so strange to see the bookmark be almost at the end.
Before I launch into my November TBR, I figured I’d do a quick recap of my October TBR.
Of the five books that I projected to read, I made it through 3 books completely ( Yes Please, Red Crown, Thousandth Floor) and half-way through two books. The two I made it halfway through are Lara Casey’s Make It Happen and Commonwealth. Look for those reviews coming soon as well!
I forewent reading The Girls at the Kingfisher’s Club, but it might be re-added in the future.
I blame this partially on my naïvety on how time grad school would take up, but I will also shamelessly blame it on binge-watching Gilmore Girls in preparation for the reunion episode. #allthefeelings.
Now onto November!
Without realizing it, my November TBR is filled with books about American history and politics. It’s one of my favorite genres and I’ve always secretly wanted to be a political corespondent or speech writer.
A historical fiction novel about Thomas Jefferson’s daughter Martha “Patsy” Jefferson Randolph. Post Revolutionary – War era is on the top of my decade list! Jefferson’s house is also within driving distance (ish) so I’m hoping to make a trip out of it!
This book was required reading for my high school government class and I couldn’t put it down. With the election coming up, I’m interested to re-read it as an adult and see if my thoughts have changed!
3. Rejected Princesses: Tales of History’s Boldest Heroines, Hellions, and Heretics
I’m all about a strong female lead. Whether it be in real life or fictionalized, stories with strong females always draw me in. I look forward to reading about some of America’s fiercest leading ladies.
As I head into final exams this month and with the holidays right around the corner, I’m going to try to be realistic about how much free time I’m actually going to have to get all of this reading done.

Thinking In Storylines 
I want to read lots more Stephen King, and maybe another classic? I’d like to read more Thomas Hardy I think! 🙂

Classics are the best! I want to read more of those as well. So many of them serve for jumping off points for my current favorites!
